Type 1 diabetes is a disease that your insulin producing cells within your pancreas are slowly destroyed and eventualy fail to produce insulin. 5 to 10 percent of the diabetic population is Type 1 diabetes. Type 1 diabetes is most common in teens and children, but it is not uncommon to diagnose an adult later in there life. This form of diabetes was know as two common names but not used today Juvenal Diabetes, and Insulin dependent. You can be diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at any age.

The symptoms of type i diabetes usually develop quickly over time. if a person is not treated over a long period of time a person can go into a diabetic coma. 
Here are the symptoms:
  • excessiveness thirst
  • Frequent urination
  • Extreme hunger   
  • unexplained weight loss 
  • fatigue or "run down"
  • tingling burning feet or peeling

Treatments:

People with diabetes have to inject insulin into fatty parts of there body. Insulin is injected usually with a syringe but more commonly used today is the insulin pen. some people use a insulin pump that is attached to there  pancreas and the pancreas sends messages to the monitor and discharge the needed amount of insulin. also there are oral medication that can be take along with your insulin.

Type 1 diabetes is a world wide problem. People in many countries face this issue. This is an issue, and will continue to be a problem until we find a way to help. throughout the world people have diabetes but the most affected place in the world is the U.S.A. this is because of the rising numbers of obesity that lead to type 2 but type 1 is mostly genetic.
